Before you book
Questions, answered plainly.
A few answers before you reserve a date in Houston.
What is included?
Your quote bundles the agreed equipment, a technician, planning, setup, teardown, music cue coordination, and local travel. A package does not automatically include every effect. Custom graphics and timecode programming are quoted separately.
Can every venue use lasers?
No. Suitability and placement have to be reviewed for the room. Current laser power fits outdoor events, festivals, large clubs, theaters, arenas, and stadiums. A 60-watt projector is not used for a small wedding room.
Who handles laser permits?
Laser Design Works handles permitting and regulatory requirements. Shows in Texas require advance notification and/or a permit.
Are Sonic Booms actual CO2 jets?
No. Sonic Booms here are the Sonic Boom II, a lighted CO2 jet burst simulator. The effect is a CO2-style lighted fog blast using fog and LED lighting. It does not use liquid CO2.
Does low fog use dry ice?
No. The Creeper AQ produces continuous low-lying ground fog without dry ice.
How tall is the Sparkler Heart?
13 feet. It is a heart-shaped art piece with a cold spark effect. Pricing is on request, and the venue has to be reviewed. It is included only when the written quote says so.
Do you travel?
Houston-focused celebrations. Local travel is included. Any travel beyond that is agreed before booking.
When is payment due?
A deposit is required, and the balance is due before the event starts. The deposit amount, cancellation, refunds, rescheduling, and the exact due date are set out in your contract.
